In a world torn apart by ethnic clashes all over, in a country where religious beliefs and linguistic chauvinism has done more harm than being a bonding factor, in a state like ours which has been witnessing the menace of insurgency, in the age of transition when the need for change in the educational system from rote memorization to skill development is being felt by one and all –the only hope is the teaching fraternity.
